Wherein we present a new feature, a monthly look at the night time doings of famed New York blogger, Two Can Anne. -KMH A sylph who floats effortlessly between the worlds of NYC, here I am at Harry's to enjoy the boozy benefits of another's expense account. Harry's so epitomizes Wall Street culture that it was fictionalized in Tom Wolfe's Bonfire of the Vanities. I didn't meet a man there who wasn't married or wanted my number. Whatevs. My darling gal Carla Rhodes, ventriloquist, comedian, and musician, fueling up with nicotine before our next adventure. Ventriloquism annoys me, primarily because I can't do it, and stuff that is hard is not worth doing, in my opinion. But Carla somehow makes it cool, and if you've never been lucky enough to be in the same room with Keith Richards, get close enough by seeing Carla with her puffy stuffed diminutive version of Keef; it's brilliant.
